I was recently
diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. This is recognized by mainstream
doctors and research is being conducted at some of the most prestigious
universities in the country and yet it is frequently overlooked. I
strongly believe that everyone with chronic fatigue should be checked for
this condition, especially if they snore.
I have also been
having good progress by taking vitamin D over the last few
months. My very painful sciatica is gone. My prostate
has improved quite a bit. My dentist is shocked at how much my gums
and teeth have suddenly improved.
The site has been
rearranged to reflect these I've created an
entirely new section for them.
Chronic
fatigue can also be caused by parathyroid
problems. It is much more common than people think and doctors
usually don't look for it.

Welcome to my web-site. It contains information not only on CFS, but also
irritable bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia. (Many people that have one also
have the others.)
The purpose of this site is to
integrate the ideas I've gotten from different people and add a few of my own.
I have kept a careful journal of what has helped and what has not. I work
with an excellent doctor. I've found that while many people have parts of
the answer, no one knows the whole answer. The purpose of this site is to
bring together as many of those answers as possible.

Eight years ago I
was suffering from full-fledged Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I was in a constant
fog, had constant ringing in my ears, sinus problems, pain in the joints, a sore
throat, and a persistent jock rash. My body temperature was 97.2°f. I had
severe gastrointestinal problems. Sexually, I had little feeling.
Today, my energy level is not
normal, but it is much closer. The ringing in my ears, pain in the joints
and sore throat are a distant memory. My body temperature is much better. It
isn't normal yet, but it is getting there.
At my worst, I was seriously
considering applying for disability. Today, I would never consider that.
I often do feel very tired during the day, but I can do my job, and I even won an award that is given to only 3% of the employees at my company each year.
Getting better is difficult,
but it can be done. I have accumulated quite a bit of knowledge that I
think will be helpful to other people recovering from this condition.
There are some suggestions you can try tonight and can give you more
energy by tomorrow. There are others which can take months. There are
still others
which you can ask you doctor about. There's even a few that might cure
you.
