Stop!  You should always see a doctor first.  Fatigue can have many causes.  It may indicate a fairly common condition which can be treated easily such as thyroid problems.  It may indicate more serious conditions.

Mycoplasma Infections
These are opportunistic infections which exist in many chronic fatigue patients.  They don't cause CFS, but treating them can help.
Food Allergies and other Gastrointestinal Problems
Many people with chronic fatigue have stomach problems.  Resolving these can help a lot.

Candida is a fungus that lives in the stomach.  Understanding and treating this will almost certainly help!

Chiari's Syndrome
If your CFS began in your teen years, this may be your problem and it may be corrected by surgery.
Wilson's Thyroid Syndrome 
Is your body temperature below 98.2ºf?  This problem involving thyroid hormone may be your problem even if you have a normal thyroid test.
